The Girl
My name is Lejla and I was born in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
I grew up in Florida, but I currently reside in Germany.
Having a father who is a singer and who had to travel a lot has made it possible for me to see many beautiful places and learn new languages. I love meeting people and experiencing different cultures. I see myself as a free spirit.
I'm fluent in Bosnian, German, English, and I speak a little bit of Spanish also.
The Blog
'Leila and Vanya' which is what the blog was called at first was started with my best friend who after a while decided that blogging was not something that she wanted to go forward with. For a long time it was forgotten, until I decided to rename it and started writing again.
Leila D. was founded in 2016. You can find many different topics here, but it specializes in fashion and beauty.
It has gained popularity very fast, and it's still growing.
In a short amount of time I have done many collaborations, product and salon reviews with brands such as Rainbow Shops, Prive Hair Salon, Givenchy Beauty and others which you can find here
When it comes to style and beauty; I like to mix things up. Luxury or affordable, edgy or boho, there is something for everyone here.
For me, this blog is a way to share all the things I love and enjoy with the world.
